hello i recomend you to test openmeetings is anoter opensource web conference tool i am testing it to use it in my university and i am downloading dimdim to because i wanna know who fit best to our need. we can not use wisiq because of a decret we should use only opensource.

ah, failed. sry. there is still an absolute free version. but they added a LOT of things to a “Pro” version.

looks like dimdim is no longer free. it says free 30 days trial and then 19$ per month. so for free presentation apps, it should be Wiziq now?

WiZiQ has enhanced the free and premium memberships. You might want to give it a try. Some of the features are desktop sharing [through a plug in], recording permissions [whom you want to see], ability to download the recording, block attendee, disable chat as well.

Dimdim is about to release version 4.0 which will enable session recording, multiple presenters, Mac desktop sharing, free audio conferencing, private meetings and much more. With our new recording feature you will be able to grab an embed code and/or download the .FLV file to do with as you please. We’ve also improved meeting join workflows taking into account that sometimes the host wants to leave a meeting and join again on another PC or after an accidental browser close. Stay tuned, all this will be released within the next 10 days. BTW, you can brand today’s Dimdim Pro account (only $99 per YEAR) with your own logo or image.
